Gerobak
sapi is one the most famous transportation for Javanese people in the
past. Nowadays, a lot of more advance transportations in various types
have been invented, thus Gerobak Sapi is not a choice anymore.
Even though this Gerobak Sapi is no more popular as transportation means, it is still become something special in Malangrejo.
Becoming a something typical of Malangrejo, Gerobak Sapi is magically changed to be a hot rod. Most of the people are participating in the annual Gerobak Sapi Festival, competing, and having fun together.
The driver of Gerobak Sapi, known as Bajingan put their best effort to prepare both of the cart and cows. Designing the cart to be the best looking cart also bring them to be a champion.
This Gerobak Sapi Festival is organized by Karang Taruna of Dusun Malangrejo once a year and already become a special event of Malangrejo.
